A Few Words About

Sally McCrea

Early in my leadership journey, I struggled to find mentors who were truly invested in guiding others. The search was long and frustrating, but when I finally found the right mentor, I realized just how many people faced the same challenge. I knew I wanted to make the path easier for others. With my mentor’s support, I set out to develop a program that would help aspiring leaders grow with confidence. Recognizing that I wasn't an expert in the field, I sought insights from those who were. I connected with local businesses, studied leadership strategies from top organizations, and even explored military leadership principles—where mentorship is a cornerstone of success. One of my most impactful experiences was learning from a Master Chief aboard the Coast Guard’s high-endurance cutter Midgett while it was in dry dock in Seattle. His stories of mentorship inspired me, and he generously shared his leadership program with me. I adapted key elements of it to create a structured mentoring system within my company, working alongside supervisors to support and develop emerging leaders. Seeing individuals finally get the leadership guidance they needed was incredibly rewarding. That experience fueled my passion for career development, and today, I bring that same dedication to helping professionals build stronger resumes, advance their careers, and find the right opportunities.
